  • Case definition :
    First consultation for an acute zoster defined by acute painful painful erythemato-vesicular at a metameric territory (territory nerve root), possibly associated with many vesicles away from metamere involved (disseminated zoster). Exclusion criteria: postherpetic neuralgia, subsequent visit for the same episode.
  • Description for each case: age; sex; hospitalization and if so why; immunosuppression and if so what type; ophthalmic zoster; antiviral therapy and, if so : local treatment, general, local + general.
