A partir de la semaine 2020s12, les incidences de cet indicateur sont estimées secondairement à partir de l'indicateur Infections Respiratoires Aiguës. La comparaison des estimations des syndromes grippaux entre les périodes pré-Covid-19 (1984-février 2020) et post-Covid-19 (depuis mars 2020) doit donc se faire avec prudence.

Définition des cas :
Fièvre supérieure à 39°C, d'apparition brutale, accompagnée de myalgies et de signes respiratoires. - Données recueillies pour chaque cas : âge, sexe, réalisation et résultat d’un test diagnostic pour la COVID-19, réalisation d’un prélèvement dans le cadre de la surveillance virologique Sentinelles, statut vaccinal vis-à-vis de la COVID-19 et de la grippe, symptômes présentés, facteurs de risque de complications, demande d’hospitalisation ou de consultation aux urgences.
